During a stay on the island of Oléron, we wanted to make a 3D reconstruction of the Maison Forestière des Allasins. The shots were taken with our drone Dji and, with our sensitivity to Open Source projects, we wanted to test MeshRoom for the reconstruction. The process is disconcertingly easy but required a post-processing phase to simplify and clean the generated mesh. For this, we used the excellent software Blender!

Now, it remains to see the georeferencing of the mesh and its processing to be able to visualize it in Kano !

We recently released a first version of a job Krawler that allows you to download and use data from the OpenRadiation project. OpenRadiation is a collaborative open data base that gathers measurements of ambient radioactivity in the environment carried out by citizens, as part of a citizen science program.

OpenRadiation data is now accessible via Kano and very soon in Akt’n’Map. We are thus enriching the real-time data catalog on which our environmental monitoring solutions are based!
