📣 This autumn, Kalisio is rolling out a major new version of Akt'n'Map. From now on, Akt'n'Map will be renamed Kalisio Crisis. This is the first step towards reorganizing our offer, to make it clearer and more flexible.

💡 Indeed, Akt'n'Map was just the tip of an iceberg of technological bricks that we now wish to make independently accessible to our customers. Henceforth, in the future, we will offer the following set of products:

• Kalisio Planet - interoperable geographic data and services infrastructure based on Krawler and Kargo in particular
• Kalisio Teams - an organization management application based on our development kit and taking over the administration part of the current  Akt'n'Map.
• Kalisio Maps - a geographic data creation, visualization and sharing application based on the current Kano platform
• Kalisio Field - field data collection application for asset management based on our development kit
• Kalisio Watch - an environmental observation application taking over the environmental alerts part of the current Akt'n'Map.
• Kalisio Crisis - a risk management application taking over the operational part of the current Akt'n'Map.

SecurIT has selected the project built with our partners Global Smart Rescue (France) and Prendoquota (Italy) in the second batch of funded projects, for safe, secure and resilient territories. We are proud to be winners in one of the disaster resilience categories: “Optimization of disaster communication and warning systems”. The kick-off meeting, held in Vilnius on July 5, 2023, was an excellent opportunity to present our innovative digital solutions to consortium members and other projects.

We will be demonstrating a hardware and software system designed to improve response to technological crises and disasters. In particular, it enables the acquisition and analysis of environmental measurements. It also provides operational teams in the field with the means to optimize their environmental investigation strategy. Finally, the system can be easily deployed within a timeframe compatible with operational requirements during a disaster. It relies on multiple channels (WiFi, GSM, Satellite, IoT) to ensure resilient communication when every second counts.

📣 Over the past few months, we've migrated our infrastructure from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes to facilitate provisioning, monitoring and scalability. This is a huge step towards greater security, reliability, efficiency and maintainability. Indeed, sustainability is the main challenge for Open Source projects.

👏🏼 Our Kargo solution, which has been running in production for years, will therefore be ready to supply Helm cards for years to come.

Our ambition is always to keep our hosting infrastructures up to date for our customers through preventive and adaptive maintenance.
